Post-doctoral research fellow
Biography/ Research Summary
Jihun Kim completed his Ph.D. from the Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science & Technology (DGIST), Rep. of Korea in 2019. His Ph.D. work focused on the development of a multimodal imaging system based on high-frequency ultrasound and optical-multispectral imaging techniques for tumor characterization. In August 2019, he joined in the Yoon’s Lab as a postdoctoral research associate. He is working on projects related to the development of a super-resolution ultrasound imaging system in vascular applications using the biogenic nanoparticles. His research interests include beamforming, nonlinear imaging, signal and image processing for reconstruction of super-resolution ultrasound image.
